For the second time, Galerie Denise Rene presents a solo exhibition of works by Swiss artist Pe Lang. As part of the show, Lang presents four sound-sculptures that were created in collaboration with the Greek composer Marianthi Papalexandri-Alexandri. The works will be on view in Paris until September 13, 2018.After several years spent working in Berlin, Lang has returned to Switzerland and set up a studio close to Zurich. Since Lang is trained in electronics and computer programming, he has naturally integrated technology into his artworks. According the gallery, Lang is one of the most promising artists of the new generation of constructive abstraction. The gallery describes Lang as a “rising star” thanks to his fascinating use of magnetism, the diffraction of light, gravity, friction and a convergence of various elements. Over the last fifteen years, many distinguished awards have come Lang’s way for his sound installations and performances in European festivals, in the United States and in Asia, as well as artistic prizes, awards and participation in contemporary art exhibitions. In certain works, the progression of surfaces or lines that project their colored phantoms onto the surface of the wall creates a feeling of immateriality, transfiguration and ambiguity of color that gives the work a new dimension.According to the gallery, the audio elements of Lang’s works are so mesmerizing that they take the audience’s perception of the works far beyond what the eye alone can see.Since its inception, Galerie Denise Rene has presented innovative proposals of geometric abstraction and kinetic works, striving to make various developments in this discipline known and internationally recognised. The exhibition is on view through September 13, 2018 at Galerie Denise Rene, Marais Space - 22 rue Charlot, 75003- Paris, France. For details, visit: https://www.deniserene.fr/Click on the slideshow for a sneak peek at the exhibition.http://www.blouinartinfo.com/                              Founder: Louise Blouin
